2024 PLODs Campout

The Poynter League of Dad’s (PLODs) held Poynter Primary School’s inaugural dad and father figures campout on the school oval.

Thanks to everyone who participated ! Attendees enjoyed some friendly competition between kids and father figures, a disco and movie night. It was great to see the coming together of father figures in our school community - with names and phone numbers exchanged, helping hands offered to pitch tents, and everyone pitching in to have fun with the kids.

Massive thanks and congratulations to Luke Neuwen who with the support of Brad Gosling coordinated the event.

A huge thanks is owed to event sponsors Damien Williams (Firehawk Technologies, flyer below) and Aaron Green (Realmark) who each donated $500 to the event, ensuring the disco, BBQ Breakfast and Coffee Van were covered for attendees.

We apologise to anyone who missed out. With this year’s success, we are definitely planning to be back next year!
