Advocacy

We advocate for our school and community. Our current advocacy goals are as follows:

  • Improve Traffic
Through discussions and petitions with the City of Joondalup, Main Roads and WA State Government we have worked to improve the traffic conditions around our school. In a big way due to our initiative, in 2024, the City of Joondalup confirmed that they will build a footpath by the end of 2025 for the entirety of Megiddo Way allowing our kids to ride to school on footpaths through one of our major thoroughfares. They have also agreed to extend our Kiss N Drive by two car bays towards the staff carpark entrance.

  • WA State Government
The WA State Government is responsible for education in Western Australia and directs the Department of Education. We have direct contact with our WA State Government representative Paul Lilburne MLA and other politicians who will further our cause. In recent times, Paul Lilburne has contributed to and is a patron of our Netball Club. He has also provided various prizes for our raffles and events.

Contact the President if you would like to advocate for initiatives on behalf of the P&C and/or school.
